PDP Mary Lou Harrison - What you can do in Rotary
Feb 16, 2021 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Past District Governon Mary Lou Harrison - What you can do in Rotary

Mary Lou's Bio

Assistant Rotary public image co-ordinator for Zone 24 East, Rotary International District 7070 governor 2018-19, charter member of the LGBT Rotary and Friends Fellowship, Rotary Direct donor and benefactor

A strong advocate for the role of women in Rotary, Mary Lou constantly seeks to increase the diversity of Rotary’s membership and leadership to better serve our world. She was born into a Rotary family (her mother was a Rotary Ann, and her father is still an active Rotarian), but she only joined Rotary after Rotarian Scott Allison asked her! Both inside and outside of Rotary, Mary Lou seeks to be a #ChangeMaker. Currently, she is the administrator of St. Anne’s Anglican Church, a national historic site, community arts centre, and vibrant parish in downtown Toronto. Mary Lou’s professional life has included positions in the Ontario government (arts and citizenship portfolios), her own catering and events management company, and being the editor of a community newspaper.
Mary Lou believes in the immense power of connection across the Rotary family, and she is honoured to support the work of Rotaract Canada to create the passionate, collaborative, and impactful leaders our world so desperately needs.
